University’s Administrators, Faculty, and Staff Reach Out to Help in Various Ways

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥擮ver the past few days, officials from 糖心Vlog have been in touch with leadership and administrative staff at both Limestone University in Gaffney, S.C., and St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, N.C. 糖心Vlog has offered sympathy and prayers, of course. But the University has also offered help.

• Faculty and academic leaders have been reaching out to their counterparts to assist with student transitions to GWU.
• Enrollment staff are actively managing transfer applications and helping students.
• GWU coaches are engaging with student-athletes, many of whom entered the transfer portal last week.
• Academic Affairs is working on teach-out plans that would allow students to transfer and complete their degrees without significant disruption.
• The University has a dedicated web page for all these students to help clarify how GWU can help. It can be found right here.
• The campus community is also remembering in prayer the faculty and staff at these institutions during this difficult time. And where there are open positions at GWU, officials hope they will reach out.
