糖心Vlog Launches Centralized Calendar for All Events on Campus

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥擳oday, 糖心Vlog launches a new centralized events calendar. Students, faculty and staff can now explore everything happening on campus in one spot. In addition, community members can easily browse and register for a broad range of upcoming events in a single GWU calendar, all accessible on their phone or desktop.

鈥淐onsolidating our university events in one easy-to-use place is important for our students, families, alumni and friends,鈥 stated Vice President for Marketing Richard McDevitt. 鈥淲e have so much to offer on campus, and as the page clearly shows, there is always something going on here at GWU. It鈥檚 also helpful as it connects to other links like tickets, locations, directions, and even background and details on the events. This is a great step forward for the campus!鈥

The new events calendar offers a robust set of features, including:

  • A one-stop location for all campus events.
  • Custom categories allowing users to explore a wide variety of events, such as athletics, academics, the arts and many other happenings.
  • Event pages providing users with more details about activities or programs.
  • Submission forms for users to easily submit their events.

Assistant Vice President for Web and Digital Communications Thea Thompson also noted the importance of the campus-wide platform. 鈥淭he events calendar is an essential tool to help foster and build community growth,鈥 she said. 鈥淏y allowing students to come together in person and online in some hybrid events, we hope this will support the sense of community that makes this university so great.鈥

The calendar is available now at this and can be accessed on any smartphone or computer.
